Here at the Raven Cafe, we like to celebrate the beautiful people that like to do things in a non-traditional manner – they’re usually the ones that know how to have the most fun, right?

This Valentine’s Day, Thursday, February 14th from 2:00-6:00 p.m.,  we’re teaming up once again with Rev. Dr. G. Patrick Thompson (“Pastor Pat”) of Sturges Memorial Congregational Church to host free wedding ceremonies again for both traditional and same-sex couples.

People who wish to participate and tie the knot in our lovely upstairs balcony as opposed to a boring old courtroom or a played-out beach at sunset under an arch of stinky flowers can do so by reserving a block of time with Pastor Pat (we will have a maximum of 24 couples).

To participate couples will require a valid Michigan marriage license. Gratuities for Pastor Pat are welcome, but not required. To reserve your time to say “I do”, call Pastor Pat on his mobile telephone at 313-585-9620.
