Cecil Williams, Stained Glass
The Blue Water Area’s crown prince of stained glass, Cecil has pencil drawings on display as well. He has entire series hanging in the Raven’s upper-level balcony . The current series illustrates seminal Detroit rockers the MC5 in saint-like depiction.

Jay A. DeFoy, Mixed Media
Jay DeFoy is a Michigan based artist currently living in Port Huron and spends all day at his desk looking at Canada. Typical projects include creator owned comics, RPG and game design art, and traditional oil painting of all subject matters, though fantasy is his preferred genre. FACEBOOK

Kristen DeWitte, Charcoal & Color Pencils
Kristen Leigh DeWitte has always been drawn to portraiture, utilizing such mediums as charcoal, acrylics and oils. As a kid she remembers watching Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead” and falling in love with the horror genre. As such, she specializes in pieces that feature dramatic lighting and deep shadows. She has showcased her work at Port Huron’s Art on the River and Art Hop events, and participated in the Women’s Empowerment Postcard Campaign put on by the Raven Café. INSTAGRAM

Lee Ann Hillis, Stained Glass & Art
Lee is a longtime patron of the Raven who slings baked goods from Betsy’s Bakes during the day, solders glass in the evenings and hikes forest trails on the weekend. She currently displays art at the Raven with art prints for sale. She also has stained glass pieces for sale on the mirrors above the Cafe’s tables. FACEBOOK PAGE

Joanie Roehl, Painting
Joanie is artist who dabbles in many mediums. She currently teaches art at Marysville High School.  She has paintings and drawings currently for sale at Raven Café.

Sara Crosby, Macrame
Sara is a self taught macrame artist. She’s often found at local art festivals selling sublime pieces of yarn art. Sara is responsible for the macrame skull on the second level by the windows.

Stu Davis, Photography
Stu is responsible for many of the beautiful photographs featured on the website. His post-edit work makes his already incredible shots seem to glow and vibrate with energy.

Warren Doss, Painting
Warren’s creative pursuits range from making music with his band White & Wong, metal sculpture and abstract paintings. He’s responsible for the wicked bike rack by our rear entrance. He also has paintings adorning the brick that are for sale.

  1. 11-29-16 I called today to find out more about your cafe because I’m looking for a place to go for my birthday and the lady I spoke with was very kind and informative. I wish I had gotten her name. Also, after looking at your web site, I really want to go to your cafe. I’m an artist and would like to talk to someone about my paintings.
